2013 Feature: RB Adam Lane

Sophomore running back Adam Lane had barely taken the handoff before avoiding a Lakeland defensive end, who raced into the backfield untouched. Lane then ran left and cut back to the middle of the field. Five Dreadnaughts defenders got a hand on him, but failed to slow him down during his 61 yard sprint into the endzone for a Winter Haven touchdown.

LB James Hearns commits to Florida

GAINESVILLE – On Thursday morning, after putting the finishing touches on the class of 2012, Florida coach Will Muschamp turned his attention to the 2013 class."Gotta recruit everyday. Already working on 2013 class. Go #Gators!" he tweeted. By dinner, that class had two more recruits. Tallahassee Lincoln LB James Hearns became the second junior prospect to give a verbal commitment to Florida on Thursday.

LB Daniel McMillan commits to Gators

Daniel McMillian kept his secret for nearly a week and Thursday was the day to let it out. McMillian, First Coast's highly recruited junior linebacker, announced that he was committing to Florida. He actually pledged to the Gators last weekend but elected to keep his choice quiet until after national signing day to not impose on his teammates’ occasion.
