Mark McLeod has been covering University of Florida athletics for 13 years. He previously had worked for an internet site that was affiliated with Rivals.com, Scout.com, and ESPN.com at various times. He has written features and opinion pieces that have appeared in “Fightin’ Gators Magazine” and “Gator Country Magazine”. He is the former host of “The Gator Country Radio Show: and co-host of “The Morning Drive with Brady Ackerman and Mark McLeod”. McLeod continues to be a contributor on “The Morning Drive with Brady Ackerman” co-hosting every Tuesday and Thursday with a special appearance on Friday. He is the host of “The Mark McLeod Show” heard Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm on ESPN Radio FM 100.1, AM 1230 (Gainesville), and AM 900 (Ocala). McLeod previews the Florida game, interviews special guests and former Florida players, previews the NFL schedule, and provides recruiting updates. He continues to freelance, writing features, speaking to Gator clubs, and performing numerous guest appearances on other stations providing commentary on Gators sports.
